Job summary

FloresHR is seeking an Accounting Manager, Client Services in Charlotte to lead a small team and oversee client accounting operations, reconciliations, and reporting. You will partner with the Controller and Treasury to ensure accuracy, controls, and smooth integration with acquisitions.

The role offers a hands-on leadership path in a fast-growing environment, with a hybrid 3+ days in-office schedule and opportunities to drive process improvements and platform enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Experience leading or mentoring accounting staff.
• Public accounting and/or high-growth environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, month-end close, reporting, and operations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience supporting system implementations or process improvements preferred.
• ERP systems proficiency; NetSuite preferred.
• Customer service mindset and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of up to five accounting and operations professionals.
• Oversee client accounting operations, reconciliations, and transactions.
• Manage reconciliation/reporting for significant client assets.
• Partner with Controller and Senior Accounting Manager to maintain accuracy and controls.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Funding, Client Services, and Account Management.
• Assist with onboarding and integration for acquisitions and partnerships.
• Support platform migrations and ERP enhancements.
• Participate in client conversations and internal meetings to resolve issues.
• Drive continuous improvement for scalability, automation, and excellence.
• Ensure compliance with policies and external reporting obligations.
• Perform other duties as assigned and uphold FloresHR values.
