Obvio Inc. is hiring its first in-house Accounting Manager to take ownership of the function and build the systems, controls, and processes needed as the company scales.

You will manage day‑to‑day close, reporting, and compliance, working directly with Finance leadership on multi‑jurisdiction projects. You will lead a hands‑on, systems‑oriented approach, including Campfire deployment, and oversee revenue recognition for municipal contracts, while partnering across Finance, Sales, and Operations

Qualificações

• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience including controller-track exposure.
• Hands‑on ERP/accounting system implementation experience.
• Experience transitioning outsourced to in‑house accounting and building controls.

Responsabilidades

• Own the outsourced-to-in-house transition, rebuild books, processes, and vendor relationships with proper controls.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closes with journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Manage revenue recognition for municipal contracts and complex arrangements with leadership.
• Oversee AP, AR, and payroll processing and vendor payments.
