Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, located in Irving, TX, seeks an Accounting Manager responsible for integrity and performance of accounting information and compliant business processes. Reports to VP of Finance and leads budgeting, audits, and financial controls to drive profitability.

The role collaborates with senior leaders, supports inventory controls, and ensures regulatory compliance. On-site position with up to 15% travel, CPA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting/finance areas/cost accounting, including but not limited to budgets, legal compliance, P&L, SFAS Rules in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial objectives and policies
• Improve efficiencies of financial processes
• Prepare reports forecasting business activity and financial position
• Maintain documentation related to budgets and related financial activity
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard assets including inventory management
• Plan and support physical inventory audits
• Provide financial reporting and analysis to operational leadership
• Support all aspects of internal and external audits
• Responsible for fixed asset and CAPEX reporting
• Ensure data integrity for regional, corporate, and regulatory reporting
• Advise management about insurance coverage for protection against property losses
• Train and develop team members
• Take on other duties as needed
