Job summary

Amazon is seeking a seasoned financial accounting professional to lead global close, reporting, and controllership efforts across multiple business areas from Nashville.

You will own monthly close, analyze variances, prepare disclosures, review SOX controls, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and automation.

Candidates should have 5+ years in finance, a Bachelor's in accounting, and CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA preferred; COSO/GAAP knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the monthly/quarterly close, including journal entries and variance analysis.
• Deliver meaningful financial reporting to management with accurate reconciliations.
• Produce balance sheet movements and disclosures for 10-K/10-Q.
• Coordinate quarterly reviews and sign-offs on key controls under SOX 404.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enable end-to-end accounting processes.
