The candidate should have 5+ years in finance, a Bachelor's in accounting, and a track record in Big Four environments with Fortune 500 clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.
• CPA is preferred.
• Knowledge of COSO internal control framework to assess control design and operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of GAAP research tools and the FASB codification.
• Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the monthly/quarterly close process, including preparing journal entries, analyzing variances, and delivering meaningful financial reporting to management.
• Manage period-end close by ensuring accurate and timely completion of all accounting entries and reconciliations.
• Perform analytical review of balances and provide balance sheet account movements to support cash flow reporting.
• Own critical financial reporting deliverables, including 10-K and 10-Q disclosures.
• Coordinate quarterly reviews and approvals of estimates, presenting conclusions to senior leadership.
• Review licensing agreements and interpret contractual terms to determine revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Prepare and review technical accounting memos under US GAAP, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Execute quarterly reviews and sign-offs on SOX 404 key controls, ensuring robust internal control framework.
• Understand internal control design concepts sufficient to assess the effectiveness of controls and design new processes and controls.
