Job summary

Amazon is hiring an Accounting Manager for AWS & Digital Accounting in Arlington, VA. You will own the monthly close, ensure accurate close and reporting, and drive technical accounting and controllership across multiple lines of business including AWS, Prime Video, and Advertising.

You will lead cross-functional partnerships, oversee SOX 404 controls, and drive automation across processes to scale controllership and improve efficiency. CPA preferred and Big Four experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the monthly/quarterly close process and deliver management reports.
• Review licensing agreements and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Lead cross-functional partnerships with Finance, Tax, Sales, and Technology.
• Drive process improvements and automation across accounting workflows.
• Provide leadership and coaching to a diverse accounting team.
