Job summary

G-Force Manufacturing in Savannah, GA seeks a Manager Accounting to oversee daily accounting operations and staff. You will supervise AP/AR, billing, month-end close, and financial reporting, supporting the CFO and VP of Accounting & Finance.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting with 5–7 years’ experience and at least 3 years in a supervisory role, plus strong GAAP knowledge and ERP experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required with 5–7 years of work experience in public/private accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in managing an accounting team.
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Excellent analytical and team-building skills.
• Experience using an ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables; experience with Power BI.
• Experience with Prophix or similar budgeting/forecasting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily accounting operations and staff.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes.
• Manage month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
• Assist with audit workpapers and external auditor requests.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure process integrity.
• Develop cross-functional relationships to support financial operations.
