Job summary

Brenton, based in Alexandria, MN, is seeking an Accounting Manager who will lead the month-end close and consolidate financials in collaboration with ProMach. You will partner with leaders on system improvements, leverage AI tools, and drive process efficiency across journal entries and reconciliations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting, at least five years of financial reporting experience, and strong Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Five years of financial reporting experience.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP proficiency.
• Organized, reliable and able to work with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and system roll forward processes.
• Analyze, prepare and review month-end journal entries; drive timeline improvements with AI tools.
• Own account reconciliations and align to subledger support.
• Partner with Shared Services on standardizing journals and reconciliations.
• Develop and lead a consistent balance sheet review process.
• Assist with audits and compliance reporting.
