Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience leading a team.
• Manufacturing industry experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Analytical, organized, and good problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all general accounting activities and ensure accuracy of financial operations.

• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Manage job cost accounting, including WIP and cost allocations.
• Oversee AP, AR, and cash management; strengthen internal controls.
• Support audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with operations, inventory, IT, and leadership to improve processes and data integrity.
• Drive continuous accounting efficiency improvements; payroll backup.

What You'll Do

• Oversee general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and journal entries.

• Manage job cost accounting, including WIP, cost allocations, and cost‑of‑sales reporting.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and cash management functions.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Support annual audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Administer business insurance programs and related risk management activities.
• Partner with operations, inventory, customer service, IT, and leadership teams to improve processes and data integrity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Back up for Payroll

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing a team.
• Manufacturing industry experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
