Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead a four-person accounting team and help drive the department's evolution amid ERP modernization and international exposure. This role offers hybrid flexibility, visibility to senior finance leadership, and a path toward Controller-level responsibility.

You will oversee day-to-day GL, close processes, and financial reporting while partnering with finance leadership on budgeting and analytics; CPA is desirable and prior Sage/ERP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
• 3+ years of experience directly managing and developing accounting professionals preferred.
• Strong general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, delegate and hold a team accountable.
• ERP implementation or systems-conversion experience is highly desirable.
• Sage experience strongly preferred.
• Financial services, banking, lending, fintech or related industry experience is a plus.
• CPA highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and manage a team of approximately four accounting professionals.
• Oversee day-to-day general ledger accounting and monthly, quarterly and annual close.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements and variance analysis.
• Support accounting and reporting across U.S. and international entities.
• Manage intercompany accounting, consolidations and international reporting.
• Maintain appropriate accounting controls and support internal and external audits.
• Play a key role in an ongoing ERP implementation and systems modernization.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting and automation.
• Partner with finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Delegate effectively while remaining hands-on when necessary.
