The role partners with finance and operations to ensure timely reconciliations, robust account analysis, and reliable support for business decisions; audits coordination and process improvements are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with major ERP systems: Oracle, JDE, SAP; NetSuite a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support a multi-unit business through general accounting and internal control functions.
• Manage the monthly financial close process to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
• Prepare and review General Ledger entries and reconciliations for month-end closing.
• Perform monthly account analysis and investigate variances in financial statements.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls and compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate quarterly reviews and year-end financial audits with external auditors.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in accounting processes.

For our client, we are seeking a Accounting Manager to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will oversee core accounting operations for a multi-unit business, with a strong emphasis on monthly close accuracy, financial reporting, and internal control integrity. The Accounting Manager will partner closely with finance and operational teams to ensure timely reconciliations, sound account analysis, and reliable support for business decisions. This position also plays an important role in coordinating audit activity and driving process improvements across the accounting function.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $130,000 annually
