Job summary

Tribute Technology is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting for our ecommerce operations and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

You will own the monthly close, collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and FP&A on internal controls, budgeting, and business performance, and mentor a growing team while driving process improvements and system implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for the Legacy Touch business.
• Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and close documentation.
• Review reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with teams.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with business unit leaders.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Support external audits, tax engagements, and system implementations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Partner with FP&A to analyze budget and forecast variances.
• Provide training, mentorship, and leadership to the accounting team.

ABOUT YOU:

The Accounting Manager will lead the day-to-day accounting operations for an ecommerce organization and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. The position manages and owns key elements of the monthly close, and partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and FP&A on internal controls, budgeting, and business performance. This is a hands-on role that combines technical accounting expertise with process improvement and team development.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Lead and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for the Legacy Touch business.
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including preparation and approval of journal entries.
• Review account reconciliations and support staff in resolving discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements; collaborate with business unit leaders to address inquiries and provide insights.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
• Support external audits, tax engagements, and system implementations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and accounting policies.
• Partner with FP&A to analyze budget and forecast variances.
• Provide training, mentorship, and leadership to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
