Base pay range

$130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Accounting Manager

Dallas, TX - fully remote

**Must be local to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and open to travel once a month**

One of our PE-backed, cloud-solutions clients is looking to onboard an Accounting Manager. This is a highly-acquisitive, growing company that works with a variety of customers across industry sectors.

Potential candidates must have experience with Netsuite and a strong operational accounting background with a "roll up your sleeves" mentality. Will be managing a team of 3-4 direct reports with oversight over all ME close processes and day-to-day accounting, reporting, and managing the audit.

Growth track to step into a Controller role within 1-2 years.

Compensation: $130-150K + bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Lead, mentor, and support a small accounting team
• Liaise with external auditors, tax preparers, and consultants as needed
• Identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Proven ability to manage the close process from start to finish
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
