This role will report directly to executive leadership and play a pivotal role in scaling our financial operations with accuracy, efficiency, and strategic foresight.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead General Ledger Oversight: Ensure precise and timely posting of all financial transactions; supervise the maintenance and integrity of the general ledger.
  • Own the Close Process: Drive the full close cycle—monthly, quarterly, and annually—with meticulous attention to detail, delivering accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements.
  • Deliver Financial Intelligence: Prepare insightful GAAP-compliant reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements that inform key business decisions.
  • Apply Technical Excellence: Interpret and apply complex US GAAP standards; handle intricate accounting issues with confidence and clarity.
  • Champion Accuracy: Perform and oversee reconciliations of critical accounts; swiftly identify and resolve variances.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Support tax filings and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local tax laws.
  • Partner with Auditors: Facilitate efficient and successful external audits through clear documentation and open communication.
  • Innovate & Improve: Continuously evaluate and streamline accounting workflows, introducing automation and efficiency improvements where applicable.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Serve as a trusted financial partner to departments across the organization, ensuring consistent and timely financial insights.
  • Lead Special Initiatives: Drive high-impact projects that enhance our financial operations and strategic goals.
Who You Are
  • A seasoned accounting professional with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; a CPA is strongly preferred.
  • A leader with integrity, bringing at least 7 years of progressive accounting experience (10+ for Senior Accounting Manager consideration), including leadership in accounting controls and financial reporting.
  • A technical expert in US GAAP and complex accounting transactions, with proven success implementing accounting policies and systems.
  • Proficient in ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks, and highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented, analytical, and organized—known for turning data into clarity and actionable insight.
  • An excellent communicator, adept at working across teams and presenting financial information clearly and confidently.
  • A self-starter and problem solver, energized by challenge and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
