Job summary

Addison Group is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting, close processes, and internal controls. This role partners with operational leadership to ensure accurate financials in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, and prior leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-location or service-based environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is ideal.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, accrual accounting, and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP/accounting system experience required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to travel to branch locations in south Florida.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations including general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, accruals, and month-end close.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reporting packages, and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow visibility, and operational financial review.
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate audit support and assist with tax, fixed asset, and compliance-related activities.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff while improving processes and reporting efficiency.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to support business objectives.
• Other responsibilities as needed.
