General Stamping & Metalworks in South Bend, IN is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to own the day-to-day accounting function and partner with the controller. You will manage cash flow, collections, invoicing and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely month-end closes.

With 5+ years in accounting and at least 2 years in a supervisory role, you will lead the accounts payable/receivable team, drive process discipline, and support annual audits in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field; CPA a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort building reports.
• Manufacturing accounting experience is required.
• Plex experience is a plus.

General Stamping & Metalworks is looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to join our team in South Bend. In this role you'll own the day-to-day accounting function and partner directly with the controller. You'll have real autonomy and visibility, from managing cash flow and collections to shaping the financial reporting that guides the business. This role suits someone who takes pride in accuracy and wants to own the month-end process.

• Manage a wide range of accounting functions, with significant autonomy and visibility.
• Work closely with leadership on cash flow, collections, invoicing and financial reporting.
• Gain exposure to revenue generation, forecasting and operational finance.
• Play a key role in keeping the financials accurate and maintaining process discipline.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including cash receipts, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Salary range: $100,000 – $120,000, depending on experience
