LHH seeks an Accounting Manager for a hands-on construction accounting role in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will lead month-end close, manage AP/AR, payroll, and labor compliance, and partner with operations to drive accurate job costing and financial reporting.

The Accounting Manager will join an award-winning construction organization in the San Francisco Bay Area that has earned recognition for workplace culture and safety. It may also be an excellent opportunity for an accomplished Senior Accountant who is ready to grow into people leadership and broader Building Accounting Management.
Working within a single-entity, high-volume construction environment, the Accounting Manager will help lead the day-to-day accounting operation while having the opportunity to significantly impact efficacy and efficiency. The organization is investing in better processes and technology, including Optical Character Recognition for invoice processing, giving this person an opportunity to help modernize workflows and expand automation across accounting and finance.
The Accounting Manager will report to and work closely with the Controller on month-end close, annual close, WIP reporting, Revenue Recognition, and management reporting. This person will provide leadership across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and labor compliance, and will find support from an AP/AR Manager, a tenured Payroll Manager, accounting specialists, labor compliance professionals, project managers, superintendents, and operational leaders.
