Job summary

Dashing Diva is seeking an Accounting Manager in Port Washington, NY to oversee daily accounting operations and drive the month-end close. You will supervise staff, ensure GAAP compliance, and provide timely financial reporting to senior management.

In this on-site role, you will coordinate audits, maintain internal controls, analyze variances, and support budgeting and forecasting while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience supervising or managing accounting staff.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual in English and Korean preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and cash management.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Coordinate annual audits and work with external auditors.
• Develop and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
• Supervise, train, and support accounting team members.
• Monitor and analyze financial results, including budget-to-actual variances.
• Partner with senior management to provide financial analysis and recommendations.
• Ensure timely completion of tax filings and other financial reporting requirements.
• Manage cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Perform other accounting and financial duties as assigned.

About the Role:

Compensation Range:

$80,000 - $90,000 yearly
