Job summary

Ascendo Resources seeks an experienced Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations in Paterson, NJ. The role supports executive leadership, with responsibility for AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.

The position requires 5+ years of accounting experience, proficiency with QuickBooks, and ability to work independently in a small-company environment. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or similar role.
• Experience with QuickBooks and ADP payroll preferred.
• Understanding of AP, AR, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Ability to work independently in a small-company environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
