Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Coda Search is partnering with a prominent food and beverage company with offices located in Westchester County. This is a growing company that owns over 70+ food and beverage locations and has been expanding its presence across the US.

The team is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for leading the month‑end close, managing the GL, preparing intercompany transactions, and overseeing budgeting/forecast across its various entities. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the CFO preparing commentary on the financial statements and helping to drive the strategic direction of the firm.

This is an excellent role for someone to grow into a leadership role within the firm and be mentored by the CFO.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month end close overseeing all items on the balance sheet and income statement
• Prepare and oversee all accompanying schedules on the balance sheet
• Prepare intercompany transactions and adjusting entries
• Manage various retail locations and fixed asset schedules
• Review and approve AP entries
• Assist with the annual audit and work closely with external stakeholders

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience - assisting/leading the month end close
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
