Responsibilities

• Lead and support financial operations for multiple companies.
• Manage monthly close and financial statements.
• Administer NetSuite ERP and develop reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes.
• Approve vendor bills in ERP and manage weekly check runs; support AP/AR teams.
• Administer NetSuite ERP and develop reports; oversee sales tax filings with Avalara.
• Identify AI opportunities in Accounting and contribute to implementing AI solutions.
• Oversee expense management software rollout planned for 2026.

What You’ll Do

As Accounting Manager, you’ll lead and support essential financial functions for multiple companies, including:

Accounting

• Managing the monthly close and preparing accurate financial statements
• Overseeing general ledger activity and ensuring data integrity
• Producing financial reports on a periodic basis
• Providing account analysis and reconciliations
• Working with cross-functional teams to establish processes resulting in accurate accounting records
• Approving vendor bills in ERP system and preparing weekly check run
• Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and staff

Automation

• Administering NetSuite ERP
• Developing NetSuite reports and Excel applications using Power Query
• Overseeing sales tax filings processed by Avalara
• Overseeing expense management software to be implemented in 2026
• Identifying how AI can be applied in Accountingdepartment
• Implementing AI solutions

Development Path – Future Responsibilities

Finance Leadership

• Strategic financial planning and analysis
• Treasury and cash management
• Responsible for and oversight of all accounting functions and reporting including payroll
• Management of accounting staff
• Forecasting and budgeting
• Tax planning and tax return preparation
• Assess AI and other technology solutions that will benefit your functional areas and lead solutions implementation

Legal

• Review company agreements consulting with outside counsel as needed
• Negotiate agreement terms with customers, vendors and other third parties

Human Resources

• Direct and oversee the activity of HR Manager who is responsible for all functional areas of HR including talent acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment
