Job summary

Qualifications

• Candidates should have strong financial reporting experience and be capable of leading a team through month-end close.
• Experience managing an accounting department and coordinating with finance leadership.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly general ledger account reconciliations and help resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries and support the accuracy of the general ledger.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements to ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Partner with the Director of Finance on the year-end physical inventory count.
• Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors and prepare requested documentation.
• Support cash applications, collections, and aging analysis.
• Review accounts receivable trends and recommend ways to improve cash flow and collections.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives within the accounting function.
• Assist with other accounting responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Finance.
