Accounting & Finance Recruiter | A CPA Who Truly Gets It

We’re working with a leading produce company in Long Beach that’s looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to take the reins on day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and cost tracking across multiple entities.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage month-end close and reporting
• Own cost accounting—analyzing variances, tracking labor and overhead, and maintaining accuracy
• Manage intercompany transactions and grower settlements
• Prepare financial reports, reconcile accounts, and support audits and tax planning
• Collaborate with operations, logistics, and leadership to inform business decisions
• Partner with leadership and support a small team including AP and accounting clerks

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of accounting experience; at least a couple at the management level
• Strong foundation in cost accounting and accrual-based financials
• Experience in produce or agriculture preferred
• Familiarity with Famous Software is a plus, but not required
• Bilingual in Spanish (read/write) would be helpful, but not required
• You’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and isn't afraid to get into the weeds

The Setup:

• Office is right off the 405 in Long Beach
• Most people work between the hours of 6am-3pm
• Salary up to $130K depending on experience
