We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join a growing manufacturing organization in Hiram, GA. This is a direct hire, permanent opportunity offering the chance to work closely with leadership in a high-impact role.

Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will ensure financial records remain accurate, reporting deadlines are met, and internal controls align with GAAP standards. This position plays a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, sales reports, and cash forecasts
• Lead annual budget preparation and update quarterly forecasts
• Reconcile monthly sales and order intake reports by product group, including revenue recognition
• Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
• Reconcile affiliate-company payables and confirm month-end balances
• Maintain fixed asset schedules, including capitalization and disposals
• Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations and variance analysis
• Work with multiple exchange rates as applicable
• Coordinate required documentation for tax calculations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Direct cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
