Job summary

W3Global Inc. in Hawaii seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee nonprofit financial operations. You will partner with the Controller on grant compliance, financial reporting, internal controls, audits, and month-end close, as an individual contributor.

This role requires 3–5 years nonprofit accounting and proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel, with a focus on accurate, timely financial records and strong collaboration with the local community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years nonprofit accounting experience, including grant accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Minimum 2 years nonprofit accounting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end close.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and monthly account reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and vendor support.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Track grant budgets and ensure compliance with grant reporting requirements.
• Assist with audits, year-end closing, and tax documentation.
• Support the Controller with financial reporting, compliance, and internal control activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of financial records.

This is an individual contributor role and does not supervise staff.

Working Conditions

Salary: Starting at $60,000 per year
