The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to lead day-to-day operations while mentoring the accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience managing full-cycle accounting operations.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of financial activities.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash management activities.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial transactions.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies.
• Partner with internal teams to support business growth and operational initiatives.
• Assist with audits, compliance requirements, and financial reporting needs.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting team members.

Plan2Placement is partnering with a fast-growing software development company in Glendale, CA that is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their expanding team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys being hands-on, improving processes, partnering with leadership, and making an impact within a growing technology organization.

The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations while helping build scalable processes for the future.

This position is open to both Direct Hire and Contract-to-Hire candidates.

Work Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
