DUTIES:
- Oversee, direct, and monitor all accounting department activities.
- Work closely with the General Manager to maintain smooth operation of accounting and other departments.
- Provide timely and accurate financial information for the Ramen and Golf businesses to executives.
- Prepare and deliver consolidated financial reports to Corporate HQ monthly and as requested.
- Ensure all accounting processes comply with GAAP and relevant legislation.
- Manage third-party outsourcing of accounting or finance functions.
- Handle the company’s financial accounts, payrolls, budgets, cash receipts, and assets.
- Prepare and monitor the general ledger, financial reports, budgets, and forecasts aligned with strategic plans.
- Manage cash flow planning and daily cash requirements.
- Authorize bank transactions and monitor bank accounts.
- Negotiate funding requirements with financial institutions.
- Oversee tax compliance matters.
- Monitor credit risks with customers and suppliers.
- Supervise external and internal audit processes.
- Develop new transaction schemes as needed.
- Guide staff on handling non-routine transactions.
- Ensure compliance with authorization processes and policies.
- Support selection and implementation of accounting software and train staff.
- Hire, train, motivate, and supervise accounting staff.
- Assist other departments with financial strategies and decisions.

- Position: Accounting Manager
- Salary: $80,000 – $100,000
- Hours: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday
- Additional Responsibilities: Maintain internal controls related to accounting processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP financial reporting and internal controls.
- Expertise in Federal, State, and Local tax laws and regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting systems, especially Dynamics GP.
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong math skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to analyze large data sets.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and modify accounting policies and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration.
- Accounting degree required.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Japanese language skills preferred.
- CPA and/or CMA certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
