Confidential Posting is seeking a senior financial operations leader to oversee all accounting, reporting, and financial planning processes in a hands-on role. You will ensure accurate data flow through QuickBooks, develop robust policies, and prepare internal and external financial reports.

The ideal candidate collaborates with management on budgeting and forecasting, and partners with CPAs and agencies to stay compliant.

Qualifications

Requirements

Operational oversight of all financial operations including accounting and financial reporting Financial Operations & Reporting

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting and financial reporting
• Make sure all transactions and data flow through QB (Quick Books) properly for future audit trail and reporting requirements
• Prepare and provide financial reports as required for departments, company, and external use
• Provide financial and data analysis as needed Planning & Compliance
• Work closely with management team in phases of finance: budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Develop and maintain a system of accounting policies and procedures to meet company and department goals as well as government tax authority requirements
• Work with CPA and government agencies to ensure that we are in compliance with all government agencies for all taxes, fees or licensing requirements Accounting & Systems Management
• Manage all accounting functions including all processing transactions as they relate to accounting and finance
• Manage QB (accounting system) end to end and related interfaces
• Train staff on QB and any new operations procedures generated through accounting
• Manage a continual system development for efficiency and process improvement HR, Benefits & IT
• Handle staff benefits as assigned including outsourced payroll, 401K, health insurance, etc.
• Manage human resources issues, concerns, and policies
• Oversight of IT with staff assistance
• Manage assets Additional Skills
• Intermediate to expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Proficient working with QB and ERP
• Knowledge of payroll processes and related government agency requirements
• Knowledge of general business contracts such as basic employee benefits, business insurance, and simple government agency contracts to enable comfortable interface with management, vendors, and customers in executing contracts Job Type: Full-time
