Manufacturing Company, located in Evergreen Park, IL, seeks an accounting leader to manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and produce accurate financial statements. The role requires overseeing journal entries, reconciliations, and management reports, while guiding external audits and improving internal controls.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in manufacturing accounting, including 3+ years in public accounting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years in public accounting (audit preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
• Lead the annual external audit process
• Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Support inventory, fixed asset, accrual, and other accounting activities
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Location: Evergreen Park, IL (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

Type: Full-Time, Permanent/Direct Hire

Pay Range: $130,000 - $135,000 base salary plus 10% bonus
