Job description

Accounting Manager

Denver, CO

As Accounting Manager, you will be primarily responsible for a variety of corporate and technical accounting areas. You will be a hands‑on operator and decision maker, developing best‑in‑class policies and processes while helping execute and transform the accounting close. With the merger completed in May 2026, you will play a vital role in advising and navigating through the integration of multiple processes, accounting policies, and systems. You will routinely collaborate with cross‑functional colleagues across the globe—including Payroll, Benefits, Engineering, Finance, People, and Procurement—to ensure proper accounting treatment and timely financial results.

What you’ll be doing
  • Manage a team of two individual contributors, including oversight and review of work in a variety of corporate accounting areas such as personnel costs, commissions, prepaid expenses, cash, investment activities, and fixed assets.
  • Lead the accounting for internally‑developed capitalized software in accordance with ASC 350‑40, partnering with Engineering, Product, FP&A, and other stakeholders to design processes and systems that support timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, fluctuation analysis, and other month‑end close activities, focusing on close acceleration, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform research and prepare supporting documentation for complex and non‑routine transactions—including commissions, legal contingencies, intercompany transactions, foreign‑currency transactions, and deferred compensation.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and provide support for audits, SOX internal control and compliance activities, financial statement tie‑out, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support integration‑related projects by providing key subject‑matter expertise and implementing process and system‑specific recommendations.
  • Lead and develop your team of direct reports, providing technical guidance, coaching, performance feedback, and opportunities for further career development.
  • Assist with accounting analyses, system implementations, and other special projects as needed.
What you’ll have
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with high preference for experience at Big‑4 public accounting firms or publicly‑traded companies.
  • 1+ year of direct people‑management experience.
  • Experience working in the technology or SaaS industries.
  • Experience with high‑volume, multi‑currency transactions in a global business environment.
  • Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred.
  • Experience with data analytics or visualization tools (such as Alteryx) and AI tools (such as Claude or Floqast agents) is a nice‑to‑have.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
