Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• Nonprofit accounting experience required.
• Experience managing month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prior leadership experience managing finance/accounting teams.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, audits, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including the general ledger and financial reporting.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and funder financial reporting.
• Lead audit preparation, Form 990 support, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop finance staff.
