About the Role: Accounting Manager

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-driven Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team, oversee monthly financials, and ensure the quality, accuracy, and clarity of every client package we send out. You’ll manage workflows for multiple restaurant clients, support your team’s development, and build internal systems that elevate our entire operation.

What You'll Do

• Lead a team of accountants and bookkeepers serving multiple restaurant clients
• Oversee monthly close processes: reconciliations, sales tax filings, journal entries, and reporting
• Review and approve final financial packages before client delivery
• Identify GL inconsistencies and troubleshoot reporting gaps
• Create and refine close checklists, templates, and SOPs
• Coach team members and ensure accountability to client deadlines and firm standards
• Continuously improve processes to drive accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
  
  

What You Bring

• 5+ years in accounting, including 2+ years in a leadership or review-heavy role
• Restaurant or hospitality accounting experience (multi-location preferred)
• Strong technical skills: GL review, reconciliations, and troubleshooting
• Leadership that’s equal parts coach, quality control, and project manager
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, Restaurant365, Toast POS
• Excel wizardry (pivot tables, reconciliations, formulas)
• Accounting degree or CPA preferred, but not required
• Comfort working with tight deadlines, multiple clients, and a remote team
