We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements. This role is responsible for managing the month-end close process, supporting internal and external audits, and driving continuous improvement in financial reporting and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and review the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
• Oversee preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement analysis
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX documentation/testing requirements
• Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate annual financial audits
• Implement and monitor accounting policies and procedures to maintain a strong control environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff; provide guidance and professional development
• Assist with technical accounting research and prepare whitepapers as needed
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal controls
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and audit preparation
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
