Job summary

CFS is seeking an Accounting Manager on site in Canton, OH to lead the accounting team and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role collaborates across Tax, Audit, and other departments to drive compliance and efficiency in a global manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 8+ years of supervisory accounting experience, with proven ability to streamline processes and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience working in a global or shared services environment, ideally in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve aged items promptly.
• Partner with Tax and Audit teams to maintain compliance and support internal/external audits.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and standardize practices across the business.
• Manage cross-functional relationships and act as a key point of contact for stakeholders.
