Job summary

Pronto Plumbing, Heating, Air & Drain is seeking an Accounting Manager in Camp Hill, PA to own day-to-day financial operations and serve as a critical link between accounting, leadership, and the rest of the organization.

You will work closely with the CFO, help oversee a small accounting team, and actively communicate financial information to other departments and leadership. This role offers meaningful ownership with executive support as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience owning accounting operations in a growing or fast-paced organization.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience with payroll and benefits administration; Paychex is preferred.
• Comfortable providing guidance or oversight to other accounting team members.

Accounting Manager

Camp Hill, PA | $75,000-$95,000 salary + 10-15% performance bonus

Pronto Plumbing, Heating, Air & Drain is growing, and we're looking for a strong accounting professional to take ownership of day-to-day financial operations while serving as an important link between accounting, leadership, and the rest of the organization.

This is a great fit for someone who has outgrown a purely transactional accounting position but isn't looking for a heavily layered corporate environment. You'll work closely with the CFO, help oversee a small accounting team, and take an active role in communicating financial information to other departments and leadership.

You’ll have meaningful ownership of the numbers while still having executive-level support and guidance. As the company continues to grow, you’ll help bring consistency, visibility, and structure to the financial side of the business.

What You’ll Own

• Oversee daily accounting activities and help ensure the accounting function runs efficiently
• Support and provide direction to a small accounting team
• Partner closely with the CFO on financial reporting, analysis, and business priorities
• Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger activity
• Prepare accurate financial statements and internal financial reports
• Monitor cash flow and help identify financial trends and opportunities
• Manage payroll processing through Paychex and support benefits administration
• Ensure payroll taxes and employee-related financial filings are handled accurately and on time
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Track and communicate key financial and operational performance metrics
• Translate financial results into clear information for department leaders and other non-financial team members
• Work cross-functionally to help departments understand financial performance and make informed decisions
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiency
• Help establish scalable financial processes as the company continues to expand

What We’re Looking For

• 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience taking ownership of accounting operations in a growing or fast-paced organization
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Experience with payroll and benefits administration; Paychex is preferred
• Comfortable providing guidance or oversight to other accounting team members
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to both accounting and non-accounting audiences
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Comfortable working independently while partnering closely with a CFO and senior leadership
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to improving processes

• Home services, HVAC, plumbing, construction, trades, or another field-service environment
• ServiceTitan experience
• Sage experience
• Inventory accounting or inventory management
• Experience supporting a company through a period of growth
