A venture-backed consumer brand recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in its category is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its finance team. Backed by strong market momentum, national distribution, and ongoing investment in growth initiatives, the company is entering an exciting stage of expansion.

This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial reporting, strengthening accounting processes, and helping build the financial infrastructure necessary to support a rapidly scaling organization. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and partnering cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, sales, and leadership teams.

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules
• Manage general ledger accounting activities and maintain compliance with US GAAP
• Oversee inventory accounting, cost accounting, and inventory reconciliations across manufacturing and distribution operations
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to analyze inventory movements, production costs, and operational performance
• Support revenue recognition and sales accounting across wholesale, distributor, direct-to-consumer, and e-commerce channels
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with FP&A
• Coordinate annual audits and support tax compliance activities
• Strengthen internal controls and implement process improvements to support continued growth
• Support ERP enhancements, reporting automation, and finance transformation initiatives
• Mentor and develop junior accounting team members

Accounting Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA preferred, not required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Experience within consumer products, food & beverage, manufacturing, packaged goods, or distribution environments strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting
• Experience supporting a venture-backed or other high-growth organization preferred
• Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
