Job summary

Ascentek seeks an Accounting Lead to manage critical close processes and lead a small accounting team. You will oversee payroll, AR/AP, fixed assets, depreciation, and GAAP-compliant reporting for owners, leaders, customers and banking partners.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, 5+ years of related experience with 2+ years in a supervisory role, and strong Excel plus ERP skills (MRI, McLeod TMS, QuickBooks Online). Minnesota-based role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience, 2+ years in a managerial role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• GAAP knowledge and accounting procedures.
• Excellent communication with employees, customers and vendors.
• Experience with ERP software including MRI, McLeod TMS and QuickBooks Online.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and fixed assets.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant monthly and year-end closings.
• Coordinate budgets, forecasts and annual business reviews.
• Lead Accounting/Administration team (1 Accountant, 1 Financial Analyst).
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax partners.
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Ensure data security and compliance with regulations.
