City and County of Denver seeks a Lead Child Support Technician to join the Accounting unit. You will review critical accounting functions, including arrears calculations and payment processing, and work with a team to ensure accurate financial records.

The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site, as needed. In this position, you can expect to work on-site at the Richard T. Castro Building (1200 N. Federal Blvd.) 3 days (24 working hours) per week. One in-office day must fall on a Wednesday. Staff are permitted to work remotely 2 days (16 working hours) per week. Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days.

Our ideal candidate has some or all the following experience, skills, and characteristics:
Required Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
Experience: Five (5) years of experience performing child support initiation, enforcement, collections, investigations, case management or a related field. Education & Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
