Job summary

The SERVPRO Corporate Headquarters in Gallatin, Tennessee is seeking an Accounting Intern for a full-time summer internship from May 24 through July 31, 2027. The position pays 2000 per hour and offers hands-on exposure to corporate accounting functions.

As part of the Accounting team, you will assist with month-end close, reconciliations, financial reports, and internal controls while learning how accounting supports SERVPRO's operational and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be a current Junior or Senior enrolled in college pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month end close activities including account reconciliations and journal entry preparation
• Support the preparation and analysis of financial reports and schedules
• Review financial data for completeness accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Assist with accounts payable accounts receivable and cash management processes as needed
• Participate in special projects involving process improvements data analysis and any reporting enhancements
• Gain exposure to accounting systems financial controls and reporting tools used throughout the organization
• Research accounting issues and assist in documenting procedures and processes
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to better understand operational and financial business drivers

Job Summary

The Accounting Interns goal is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the day to day accounting operations within the SERVPRO organization Through hands on experience with the Accounting team the intern will develop a foundational understanding of accounting principles financial reporting processes internal controls and the business drivers that support SERVPROs operations and strategic objectives The Accounting Intern will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced accounting and finance professionals contributing to meaningful projects and learning how accounting supports key business decisions The internship is designed to provide exposure to corporate accounting functions while building technical analytical and professional skills
