Job summary

Continental is seeking an Accounting Intern to support various accounting and finance functions and gain practical experience in a professional business environment. The internship is tentatively scheduled to start early-mid November 2026 and requires onsite work in Sumter, SC.

You will engage in invoicing, reconciliations, asset records, journal entries, and reporting tasks while following all plant and department procedures.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program.
• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
• Sophomore standing or higher
• Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours.
• Must be able to work onsite.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting
• No relocation assistance is offered for this position

Responsibilities

• Process invoices using SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
• Assist with GR/IR account reconciliation activities.
• Review and reconcile vendor statements.
• Support fixed asset inventory cycle counts and record maintenance.
• Perform asset tagging and scanning activities within PASAM.
• Prepare and post journal entries as assigned.
• Submit and monitor SIVIS service tickets.
• Follow up on Electronic Service Requests (ESRs) and related accounting items.
• Assist with additional accounting, reporting, and administrative projects as assigned.
