Job summary

Continental Tire the Americas, LLC is seeking an Accounting Intern to support accounting and finance tasks while gaining real-world experience. The internship is tentatively scheduled to start early-mid November 2026 and requires onsite work in South Carolina.

Responsibilities include processing invoices in SAP VIM, reconciling GR/IR, vendor statements, fixed asset cycles, journal entries, and service-ticket management. You must be enrolled in a degree program and eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program.
• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
• Sophomore standing or higher
• Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon–Fri)
• Must be able to work onsite
• Must be able to complete the duration of the internship assignment.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting
• No relocation assistance is offered for this position

Responsibilities

• Process invoices using SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
• Assist with GR/IR account reconciliation activities.
• Review and reconcile vendor statements.
• Support fixed asset inventory cycle counts and record maintenance.
• Perform asset tagging and scanning activities within PASAM.
• Prepare and post journal entries as assigned.
• Submit and monitor SIVIS service tickets.
• Follow up on Electronic Service Requests (ESRs) and related accounting items.
• Assist with additional accounting, reporting, and administrative projects as assigned.
• Be self-managed and detail-oriented.
• Follow all plant, ESH, CBS, quality, and department processes and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
