Job summary

Stahly Engineering & Associates is seeking an Accounting Intern to gain hands-on experience in a civil engineering environment. You will learn accounting fundamentals, financial operations, and project accounting while contributing to real client projects.

Responsibilities include AP/AR support, project data updates, and preparing invoices under mentorship from the Accounting Manager and CFO. This internship offers exposure to project accounting, reporting, and business operations in Montana

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles is beneficial.
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and Word is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Process project data updates including budgets, billing terms, and dates.
• Prepare and distribute project invoices and financial reports.
• Enter expenses and credit card transactions; maintain records.
• Support monthly and year-end close processes and data accuracy.
