Job summary

Threemile Canyon Farms, LLC offers an Accounting internship designed to provide hands-on experience in a complex agricultural organization. The role includes analyzing trends, preparing financial statements, and supporting general ledger activities, with a strong emphasis on timely close processes.

Interns will work 8+ weeks with flexible start dates, typically 50+ hours per week and occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments/obligations, and assist with accruals.
• Assist with accounting duties such as accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, data tracking.
• Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Performs special projects and ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• Assist in preparing monthly journal entries and help to ensure a timely and accurate close process.
• General ledger activities including but not limited to fixed assets and related depreciation schedules, notes payable, inventory, prepaids, investments and cost allocations.
