Job summary

AGRILAND FS is a growing cooperative offering products and services in Agriculture, Fuel, Lubricants, Propane, Structures, and Turf. The Summer Business Accounting internship will be located at the corporate office in Winterset, IA and will allow the intern to assist in many different accounting functions under the guidance of experienced accountants.

The internship is paid for 8–12 weeks and provides hands-on experience, mentorship from management, and exposure to balance sheet understanding

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year degree in Accounting, Ag Business or Finance.
• Experience working independently and on a team is preferred.
• Ability to learn business software and use it for projects.
• Demonstrates business knowledge, collaboration, communication, and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Account reconciliation and balancing.
• Preparation and analysis of financial reports.
• Budget planning.
• Audit preparation.
