Job summary

Enterprise Mobility in St. Louis is offering a structured 10-week Summer 2027 Internship in its IT/Accounting stream. The program blends in-person and virtual work, with interns residing in the St.

Louis area for the duration and onsite 1–2 times per week for collaborative events and development activities. You'll gain hands-on experience with coaching, mentorship, and networking opportunities, while participating ininvoice processing, reconciliations, month-end close tasks, budgeting support,

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with ≥3.0 GPA and graduation date Dec 2027 or May 2028.
• Available to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week program.
• Must reside in the St. Louis area and be able to come onsite weekly.
• Must have completed ACG101 (or equivalent introductory accounting coursework).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor to solve real-world problems.
• Build a lasting professional network through events and activities.
• Interact with company leaders to learn about IT and finance strategies.
• Assist with invoice processing, expense reviews, and accounting transactions.
• Support account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and journal entries.
• Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and financial analyses.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Analyze actual versus forecasted expenditures and identify variances.
• Assist with data collection, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Learn and apply company accounting policies and internal controls.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
