Cambridge Investment Research is seeking an Accounting Intern to support the Accounting Department, including commissions, billing, financial reporting, and payroll. You will gain hands-on experience in operations, testing, data validation, and process improvement while contributing to strategic projects.

You will work on-site in Phoenix, AZ or Fairfield, IA, with mentorship, professional development, and opportunities to continue within Cambridge as a full-time associate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close activities and bi-weekly compensation processing.
• Support Workday and Cadency transitions and related testing.
• Review procedures for efficiency and provide practical feedback.
• Collaborate with internal partners to obtain test data and deliverables.
• Verify data integrity in accounting systems and support payments transitions.
