TIMAC AGRO in the United States (New York area) is seeking an accounting intern to support the Finance team with daily invoice posting, reconciliations and document management. You will gain hands-on experience in ERP processes, month-end closing and financial reporting.

This internship offers structured training, mentoring from experienced staff, and the opportunity for future employment depending on performance.

Qualifications

• Studies in Accounting and Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
• Eligibility to complete an internship through an educational institution or relevant internship programme.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Good command of the English language.
• Accuracy, reliability and strong organisational skills.
• Team spirit and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Posting and reviewing purchase invoices and expense documents in the ERP system.
• Assisting with supplier, customer and bank account reconciliations.
• Reviewing, organising and filing accounting documents.
• Supporting myDATA processes and document verification.
• Participating in month-end closing procedures and the preparation of financial reports.
• Communicating with other departments to collect the necessary supporting documentation.
