Job summary

Enterprise is seeking an Accounting Intern to gain real-world exposure to foundational accounting practices within our Burlington, MA headquarters. You will assist with accounts payable/receivable, financial analysis, and reporting while learning how our business operates across departments.

The internship runs late May through August 2027, offers a $25/hour wage, and a 10+ week commitment with potential for performance-based promotions as you learn and contribute to the team.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Accounting or Finance.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must commit to a 40 hour work week May–August 2027.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and analysis.
• Work closely with rental branches and other departments.
• Assist accounting managers with reports and other tasks.
• Involved with A/P & A/R functions; cash receipts & petty cash.
• Assist in accounting schedules and filing.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as needed.
