Job summary

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an accredited university with an accounting major and good academic standing.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and terminology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently and on a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with retrieving, compiling, and reviewing monthly grant reports for accurate tracking and reporting.
• Prepare monthly grant draw packages ensuring expenditures align with grant budgets and policies.
• Audit grant documentation files and reconcile grant cost centers to subledgers.
• Review and payout employee reimbursements; audit vendor files and collect W-9 and ACH details; enter vendor invoices for approval.
• Attend required in-service training and perform other duties as assigned.
