Zusammenfassung

Encompass Health invites motivated accounting students to join our summer internship program in Birmingham, Alabama. The 8-week program spans the Non-Income Tax and Reimbursement departments, with assignments across administrative, regulatory, and compliance tasks.

Interns will complete projects, prepare filings, and present a final summary of skills learned. Participation includes intern-specific activities and a final presentation at program end.

Qualifikationen

• Must be actively enrolled in a college or university and pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to work in our Home Office in Birmingham, Alabama from Monday, June 7th, 2027, to Friday, July 30, 2027.

Aufgaben

• Non-Income Tax - Assist with administrative, operational, and compliance-related activities across multiple areas of non-income taxation and related processes.
• Reimbursement- Support the preparation of regulatory filings and learning processes for federal & state regulatory reporting.
• Complete all assignments accurately and timely.
• Proactively seek to learn about the company and the department.
• Participate in all intern-specific activities (if applicable).
• Create and present a presentation on job skills learned (if applicable).
